Studio Ting was founded by Robin Chan in 2018 in Brooklyn, New York, as a creative outlet and evolving expression of his lifelong passion for interiors and design. Born and raised in Hong Kong, Robin has always been drawn to the visual arts, with a keen eye for composition, form, and storytelling through space.

After studying art history and studio art in college, Robin began his career at The Metropolitan Museum of Art, where he gained a deep appreciation for craftsmanship, cultural context, and aesthetic dialogue. Simultaneously, he spent weekends working at a ceramics studio, further grounding his practice in tactile design and material exploration.

Today, Robin continues to explore his passion for curating meaningful, beautiful environments through Studio Ting—blending artful interiors with distinctive objects that reflect a quiet elegance and thoughtful design.
